I TELL STORIES THROUGH THE CAMERA LENS CREATING ART BY POSING MY FEELINGS AND THOUGHTS.

Sept was a goood and busy month! ♥️ So many fun events and reunions. Funny enough, I had walking pneumonia the whole time but was in denial for a while bc it’s hard to slow down, look I’m sick of being sick lol! So whew chiiild, it was a rough month in the faith department 😭🙃 but God gave me energy to do all the fun things, amen!

I was watching the new season of Ted Lasso, and Holy Spirit reminded me of something so good! 🤭 So Ted coaches soccer and has this BELIEVE sign his team hits before games. It became a big deal. Now he’s coaching a girls’ team, and his assistant coach wasn’t satisfied with just BELIEVE. She added a Post-it next to it that said “And win.” Then everyone started adding their own “and” signs to the original.

It made me think about how Scripture is worded sometimes. We see people in the worst of circumstances throughout the Psalms and their laments, but there’s always a- “so, yet, but, and, but as for me”… then hope enters.

And I remembered, that’s the recipe. Faith without works is dead. We have to believe AND do something with that belief.

I can struggle with life and still trust God. Things don’t have to feel okay for me to know He’s still God, still good, and still working. I’d call it a paradox, but it’s really just a tension we have to learn to live with. Life won’t always look or feel the way we hoped. We get sick, work kicks out butt, things fail, accidents happen. BUT, we can be honest about that AND still trust the One holding it all together.

So, Believe. AND keep going. 🤍👏

Psalm 34:19 “The righteous person may have many troubles, BUT the LORD delivers him from them all.”

Habakkuk 3:18 tho things may fail… “YET I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.”

2 Cor 4:16 “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, YET inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”

The Vineyard Young Adults night out was amazing!!! 🙌🪾 Thanks to everyone who came out!!

Not related by blood, but family by THE BLOOD. 🙏

@authenticbeauty_93 and I started a Young Adults (18–40) small group for @salvation.home Bedford & GP and last night kicked off our Unplugged: By the Water event! 🌊

The views were incredible, and we had so much fun playing Would You Rather & Scripture or Cap! 😂📖 Loved getting to know each other outside of church and can’t wait for more from this growing group!

Catch us out on the vine, y’all! 🪾🍇🙌

Let me explain why this concert had deeper meaning for me….

J. Cole might be a secular artist, but he’s subtly nudged me closer to God through so many different songs over the years. I always noticed how he’d sneak the Lord into his music and stayed pure in this industry over the years. Sometimes artists just speak to you in different seasons of your life, and he’s definitely been one of those people for me. And I respect a fellow storyteller, turns the music into art.

Way back in the day, his song “Sojourner” w/Rapsody helped me visualize how to “let go and let God.” The 20sec intro on KOD “Once an Addict,” left me with a question that led me to reading the book of Job for the first time, and I learned SO much about God through that. Of course, “Love Yourz” reminded me not to be jealous or feel behind. And Cole & Joey B’s “Legendary” asking “am I doing it right?” made me think differently about what it actually looks like to love like Christ.

There are honestly so many examples for me personally. And I still geek out over the fact that his producer T-Minus noticed the God & Hip-Hop vid I made sharing ministry on YouTube that one time 😂

I got to see him back in 2015, so getting to experience this Fall Off tour was really full circle. I’m so glad we got to see what may possibly be his last tour ever.

Idk… I’ve just always felt connected to this music and artist. So yeah. This one meant a little more than just going to see a concert. 🥹🎫🎤

Look…this man did 32 songs straight. NO BREAK. 😂 So here’s my 8min attempt to condense a whole night that I absolutely did not want to forget. This vid is really for me to vicariously live thru again later 🤭 but I’ll make it public.

Shoutout to the Fall Off set design tho… pure art. Between the lights setting the different moods, the personal Honda lifting in and out, the Fayetteville Market House set, the song order… just all brilliant.

Then Cole’s crowd work is a masterclass. Starting in the audience, Bar for Bar in every city, (both Dallas picks brought their own mics yeeaaahh!!), and hearing 20K ppl singing together, then being able to hear a pin drop when he cut… was wild.

And y’all, Love Yourz live hits deep, if you make it to the middle.

J. Cole really put so much thought into this show…like it’s his last. And he loves Dallas!

How to Read the Bible- Without Overthinking It [FULL VID UP- LINK IN BIO]

Most people aren’t avoiding the Bible because they hate God- they’re overwhelmed, intimidated, convinced they won’t understand it, or they simply don’t see why they should read it in the first place.

Maybe the biggest thing standing between you and reading Scripture isn’t confusion...

It’s overthinking.

The Bible isn’t something to master- it’s Someone to know.

Before we jump into how to actually read the Bible, I want to first dismantle the fear that says: “What if I get it wrong?”

This isn’t another Bible study method.

It’s an invitation to come to God’s Word with childlike faith, curiosity, and confidence that the Holy Spirit really will help you.

Then we’ll walk through a simple framework you can use to start reading today.

You don’t need to know everything before you begin.
You just need to be willing to open the Book.

📖 Open the Book. ❓Ask questions. 👀 Seek the Kingdom. 🗣️👂Let God speak.
